One Game, Multiple Ways

Updated: Dec 20, 2021

A Fantastic Low-prep game for your intervention sessions.

I recorded this video in January 2021 at the start of lockdown #3 when lots of schools closed for the second time.

It was a crazy time and lots of lessons had to go online within a super-quick time frame.

Many TAs, LSAs, HLTAs and other support staff were asked to carry out 1:1 sessions online too and this video was viewed over 20 thousand times on Facebook!

It's a quick and easy intervention activity which you can use with multiple targets, different age groups and (the best bit) it requires very little preparation!

You can watch the vide below or click here for the YouTube link.

The Vocabulary and Memory games for interventions eBooks are on the website click here to get one. You get a link to download them instantly, then you can print off or email the pages you need for your TAs and Support Staff to deliver interventions with their 1:1s or intervention groups online. Finally, if you'd like some training on these games, I have created two courses:

These are available with instant and unlimited access. This means you can watch the videos as many times as you like (perfect for training support staff without being face-to-face!) and you don't have to wait for a start date. Each course has some theory and introduction on the topic, then a selection of demonstrations (with assistance from my little helpers) my favourite games to play to target areas of difficulty, with differentiation for ages and interests.

Both of these courses and the eBook resources are available in my schools training package too, click here for more information.

Let me know if you have any questions about the resources I have created, you can reply to this email and I'll message you back.

You can also email me with any queries or requests for support, I'm keen to help make your work life easier, especially during this challenging time.

Beth xx
